Senior Systems Developer
Location: London Term: Permanent
We are looking for a Senior Systems Developer to help the development, testing and delivery of all systems supported by our IT Development Team which include both internally developed and third-party systems across the Global Colchester Group.
Some of the work you will be involved with includes:
- Develop programmes and processes for internally developed IT systems to deliver efficient business processes in all Colchester offices.
- Produce and maintain documentation describing functionality, data flow and processes of Colchester systems. This documentation to be used for maintenance and development of systems and where applicable as a user guide.
- Work on IT solutions that support regulatory reporting compliance for new and existing regulations among others EMIR, MAS, ASIC and more.
- Ensure that connectivity between systems and databases integrating third party data sources and systems follow agreed Colchester IT Architecture strategy.
- Support users in providing on-time reporting and error handling for all reporting jurisdictions.
About You
- Significant programming experience using SQL Server Management Studio 2014 or higher/ T-SQL.
- Experience working in the financial industry (buy or sell side) with good knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements.
- Must be comfortable with writing complex queries, views, functions and stored procedures.
- Must be able to develop and maintain reports using SQL server reporting services (SSRS).
- Familiar with ETL concepts and experience in building packages using SQL server integration services (SSIS).
- Significant front-end development experience in C# and WinForms.

Application Support Analyst
Location: Singapore Term: Permanent
We are looking for an Application Support Analyst to take responsibility for supporting and enhancing all internally developed applications used by the Colchester Group. You will be working as a key member of the development team ensuring that a high level of support is maintained for all internal customers.
Some of the work you will be involved with includes:
- Provide high-quality support for business-critical application(s) or data system
- Develop and maintain an in-depth detailed knowledge of the applications you manage, including data structures, scheduled jobs, reports, and interfaces to other applications
- Maintain know-how documentation of all the support tasks with resolution
- Identify recurrent issues and conduct root cause analysis
- Propose solutions to reduce recurring support tasks
- Develop programmes and processes for internally developed IT systems to deliver efficient business processes in all Colchester offices.
- Work on IT solutions that implement business processes such as trade order management, client reporting, data warehouse, risk reporting, month end processing and regulatory reporting.
About You
- Strong Application Support experience, gained within a Financial Services environment (either buy or sell side).
- Good SQL knowledge with experience in ETL, T- SQL, SSRS and SSIS
- Must be comfortable with debugging\writing complex queries, views, functions, and stored procedures.
- Front-end application support experience in C# and WinForms.
- Troubleshooting skills in windows services
- Confident using version control tools like Team foundation Server/ Azure DevOps, Git repositories.
